Is there a Gabb Phone with a notes app that can transfer notes from the phone to a pc via a USB plug? Also can the phone be purchased without buying a plan? I'm looking for a pocket sized device just for notes that is completely self reliant and doesn't need internet or an e-mail. Something strictly for taking notes. Any help or advice is much appreciated. Thank you in advance. 🙂

Hi Brett, my old phone has a damaged screen and therefore I am unable to see anything on it to allow, confirm, enter PIN etc. How can I switch to my new phone without this? It charges up and would appear to be working as I can hear it receiving messages etc. Thank you

Brett - great that you gave this a go but I have concerns. The fact that you trust a non contact voltage stick (often called a death stick) is scary. Use a multimeter to test for live leads and throw that thing in the trash. Also with wire nuts, you have to have the right amount of copper - you can't skimp because the leads are too short. There are other solutions if you haven't got enough lead that are far better, like Wago's or you could have cut one of the spade terminals off, crimped on a male version and used heat shrink to insulate the connection (probably better in something like a rangehood which is going to be subject to heat a lot). Great that you perservered but if it were me I'd be swapping out that wire nut for another solution.

But for the price...I'll pick Alexa anytime

In the original version, there was a feature that you could wave at to silence the alarm. Unfortunately, I'm not sure why they removed that.

What I like about this watch is when you disable all the gimmicky health features you can get a good solid 4 days of battery use out of it. My main gripe is Wear OS is still laggy to this day.

A perusal of the various Facebook groups confirms these Luba mowers are not yet fit for purpose. For most people they do not work as advertised and their customer support is virtually non existent. Seems like the crappy obstacle avoidance (especially when compared to e. g. Goat G1) is the only real weakness of Mammotion. Really hope, they can fix it. Common, you have ultrasonic and two cameras on board. Would also be great if the next generation could drive real curves.😊

I've been UTTERLY disappointed with EVERY aspect of my Samsung Fridge. I'll NEVER buy one again.. We spent WEEKS trying to get ours fixed but NO ONE could get parts from Samsung. Total waste of money..

Good video going over how to set smart devices, but what I was hoping for was how to change the wake word. I have the original echo in my bedroom and echo dot in the living room. From the old app I was able to have the wake word, "Echo" for my dot. The problem I have now is on both computers which are in the same room is my other devices. So every time I say Alexa, my computer and Echo wake up at the same time. If my phone is in the room, all 3 wake up; should I have Fire TV on, that makes 4. The old version there was no problem in changing it. This new version, I am unable to do so. I've gone to the help site and it gives the explanation on how to change, but when I go to the phone app and search for either computer, there is no option to change the wake word.

I wouldn't say I like to connect to wifi directly. Is there any HUB or bridge that supports these switches?

I checked the price - they're nearly $150 a blind now. The implementation seems really to be missing the mark for that price point - it has a loud stepper motor driver (imagine all of your windows closing at once...), it can't detect the torque on the motor to auto-calibrate, it doesn't seem to do a great job of consistency when your blinds open and shut (which, let's be honest, isn't your bad blinds on this sponsored video) - my guess is you're constantly recalibrating these things until you chuck them. There are sets for closer to $80-90 by competitors that include the solar recharger, granted, they're for the traditional bead blinds. I like the idea here, but this is a hard pass.

I love this but it’s driving me crazy, my blinds don’t group they are all individual even though they are assigned to one room and the cameras are icons and don’t display any image unless I press it. Any ideas?
